Welcome to the MFA Rollout Pack for Salesforce Partners!
This pack provides customizable templates and other
resources to help Salesforce Partners plan for multi-factor authentication
(MFA). Use these materials to either enable MFA for your customers or provide
them with guidance on how to self-enable it and prepare their end users.
Salesforce
OEM Partners:
As Salesforce doesn’t communicate with your customers, you can use these
resources to provide them with advance notice about the MFA requirement,
Salesforce auto-enablement and enforcement plans, and guidance on how to comply
with the contractual requirement to use MFA when accessing Salesforce orgs. To
help your customers prepare their end users, they can access the customer
version of the MFA
Rollout Pack. You can also direct them to the Multi-Factor Authentication for
Salesforce site, where they can get enablement and change management
resources.
Notes:
· These resources assume
you’re turning on the MFA service provided by Salesforce for direct logins, but
they can be adapted to work for an SSO identity provider’s MFA service.
· Salesforce has identified
a methodology and best practices for completing a successful MFA implementation
for customers. The resources in this pack get you started with many of these
steps. For guidance on all the recommended steps, use How
to Roll Out Multi-Factor Authentication in Salesforce Help.
